After a seemingly random sonic collision over the city of Heidelberg in late 2008, the constellation of *Buddha Sentenza* began to form during the darkest hours of that cold and silent winter. Deep under the earth, in the hidden bowels of the Klonlabor tunnel complex, the searing strings and pounding drums condensed rapidly to form a nebulous cloud of loosely jammed, spaced-out, rocking riffs. Rotating freely around some of the most ancient soundscapes - from the astral end of the Pink Floyd to the depths of galaxies such as Black Sabbath - Buddha Sentenza has continued to expand, drawing energy from contemporary constellations as well. Thus, its elements follow the trail of early rock psychonauts and modern riffrockers alike, fusing droning riffs, screaming solos and cosmic harmonies into an instrumental sound experience that defies any strict genre boundaries. The result is a texture that combines the raw massiveness of rock with the infinite possibilities of outer space.

La actividad de Cabalgata Cósmica comienza a principios de 2011, cuando Lucas, Rafa y David se reúnen para disfrutar de sus gustos comunes por el rock de finales de los 60 y principios de los 70, y prácticamente todas las derivaciones que ha tenido en las décadas posteriores. Más próximos a la filosofía de los fans apasionados sin pretensiones que a la de músicos conscientes de un proyecto, van elaborando la puesta en común y la revisión de los sonidos que han disfrutado casi desde la infancia. Sin prejuicios ni restricciones, sin afán revivalista y de la manera más personal posible.

El resultado es, de momento, una mezcla de blues, proto-heavy metal, garage rock y psicodélia espacial, pero con gusto por el ruido del los 90 en adelante, e incluso con algún elemento kraut. Tonadas que se han creado a base de jam, telepatía y autocomplacencia en el local de ensayo, a las que luego se ha aplicado el yugo disciplinario de la canción convencional. Baterías trotonas, saturación de guitarras fuzz+wah, bajo grueso y distorsionado, voces (en castellano) con ecos galácticos…The Stooges, Blue Cheer, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, MC5, Cream…Pero sobre todo Black Sabbath. Black Sabbath hacia el infinito.
