A tailspin of fateful coincidences led to the outcome of the rock group, that is called Mojo Waves. The band was born on impulse, but it was hatched in the minds of it’s creators for years. The sound of the band was born quickly and naturally, only which the outlaws of organized chaos were able to do. The core of the roster has always been a classic and primitive power trio. Black Science’s music is derived from three major sources: personal powers of the soul/mind/body (mesmerism, astral projection, thought-casting, etc.), powers gained by tapping this universe’s ambient magical energy and employing it for specific effects (teleportation, illusion-casting, energy projection), and finally, powers gained through the tapping of extra-dimensional energy by invoking entities or objects of power dwelling in mystical dimensions, tangential to our own. The latter means of power is usually gained by the recitation of spells; either ritualized ones found in various mystic texts or by original spells invoking extra-dimensional assistance.

Newest Spinalonga Records/Body Blows co-release, Cube just released their self-titled debut LP digitally and on vinyl 12” in a limited pressing (250 copies). In the midst of the economic crisis in Greece, Cube are releasing what seems like a 90’s heavy rock revival. Focused on groove and straight-up heavy rock, the band delves into prog-rock experimentation but never loses the grungy aesthetic that cuts through the entire album. The quartet have released a few tracks over the years on various compilations such as the ‘In the Junkyard’ series -featuring fellow greek acts the Dive, Planet of Zeus, the Bliss, Nightstalker among others- (Spinalonga Records, Greece) and the ‘Rock ‘n Roll Blvd vol.1’ -featuring bands like Honcho, Monkey 3, Kayser and more- (Buzzville Records, Belgium).

Mosquito is a Belgian rock band formed in the summer of 2008. Kevin Imbrechts plays the guitar, Nico Kennes is the drummer and writes the lyrics. The band is most known for its live performance. Having played venues all over Europe this year, such as Botanique (Brussels), The Rambler (Eindhoven), The White Lion (London) opening for Wino, Radical Slave and Mark Stewart among ohters, the band also started getting more media attention, appearing in De Morgen, Het Nieuwsblad, on Ring TV, Radio Scorpio and Grip of Delusion Radio (US) to name but a few. Midnight Zombie Alligator - See no evil Hear no evil Speak no evil (2011)

Midnight Zombie Alligator se forma en 2008 en Barcelona como un trío con dos bajos y una batería. Al poco tiempo uno de los bajistas tiene que abandonar el proyecto y se incorpora un guitarrista. Con esta formación empiezan a hacer sus primeros conciertos y a mediados del 2009 editan su primer EP homónimo (MZA) de cuatro temas, en el que se aprecia claramente su apuesta musical stoner rock. En 2011 se autoproducen y editan su primer LP "See no evil Hear no evil Speak no evil", nueve temas (incluye tres de las canciones del EP) de rock duro y psicodelia setentera con toques de los 90. El disco con letras en inglés, nos ofrece riffs black sabbathianos, grandes bases rítmicas y una potente y melódica voz (del batería). La banda lo distribuye desde su bandcamp bajo una licencia Creative Commons BY-NC-ND (Reconocimiento - No comercial - Sin obras derivadas). Disfrutarlo! (Rock Copyleft)
